Brief Biography

Itumeleng Primrose Oageng is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics, at University of Botswana. She has been teaching and supervising both undergraduate and graduate student research projects in economics since 2012. Her research focuses mainly on the labour market, gender and agricultural issues. She has participated in several seminars/workshops that interrogates issues of gender equality and women empowerment among others. She is also a Member of the Multi-Sectoral Committee for Food Security & Poverty Reduction (MSCFS&PR) in the Ministry of Local government and Rural Development.
