Research Areas

I am a highly motivated researcher in Neurobehavioral, Neuroendocrinology, and Nano-drug delivery using scientific model systems, especially rats and mice, but also Drosophila and human subjects, in which I have published over 42 peer-reviewed articles.

The following are my areas of research:

1. HIV/AIDS and antiretroviral drugs-nervous system interaction

2. Nano-drug delivery

3. Epidemiology profile of tropical diseases such as Malaria, especially cerebral malaria

4. Anthropometry anatomy

Postgraduate Supervision Areas

1. Medical education, the use of teaching tools such as anatomage for teaching and learning in health sciences.

2. Epidemiological profile of tropical diseases such as Malaria, especially cerebral malaria

3. Anthropometry and comparative anatomy

4. Antimalarial drugs and Antiretroviral drugs and their impact on the nervous system and neurocognitive functions
