MPhil/PhD in Geology

1.0 Aims

The MPhil/PhD programme in Geosciences and Earth Sciences is designed to produce graduates who are competent and interested in both advanced theoretical and practical Earth Science studies. The programme will enable students to acquire advanced knowledge and skills through instructions and research.

The mission of the Department of Geology is the pursuance of excellence in the training of geoscientists, in research that will advance knowledge in the geosciences for the betterment of Botswana, Southern Africa, humankind and the environment, and in the provision of professional services in the geosciences.
