Duna M. Raletsatsi is a lecturer in Chinese Studies programme, under the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Botswana. She currently teaches Mandarin Chinese language at Intermediate level (Third year students) and advanced level (Final year students). She is a young academic researcher who is interested in research that looks into Mandarin Chinese language teaching and learning as well as analogies between Chinese and Setswana language. Her thesis was titled 'A comparison between Chinese and Setswana language markers used when adjectives modify nouns and acquisition'. She has also done research on a paper titled 'Information and knowledge sharing in Chinese language: Challenges in Botswana consumer domain. Her latest research was a paper titled 'Mandarin Chinese Language Teaching in Botswana: University of Botswana.'
Mrs Raletsatsi did her BA (Humanities) and PGDE at the University of Botswana. After graduation, she joined the High Court of Botswana as a Court Interpreter and worked for six years. She then applied for an opportunity to further her studies in China. She studied Mandarin Chinese and upon her return,she joined the University of Botswana teaching Mandarin Chinese.
