Victor Ruele is a lecturer of Technology education in the Department of Industrial Design and Technology at the University of Botswana. He has taught at the University of Botswana since June 2006. He teaches mainly technology related courses for pre-service and in-service teachers. Prior to this, he had worked as a teacher and head of department in senior secondary schools as well as a teacher training college.
His subject expertise spans over 30 years; 13 years at university level; 5 years at a teacher training college; 9 years at senior secondary schools and 3 years at junior secondary school level. As his contribution to the field, he has been actively involved in the development of the D&T teaching syllabus for senior secondary schools and has offered academic leadership towards the development of systems and control syllabus content. As a technology educator, he has been involved in the continuous professional development (CPD) of the local teachers especially in the field of control technology. Furthermore, he has been involvement with the training of D&T teachers from Eswatini and Lesotho.
