I am a demographer and population scientist. My academic degrees are 1) Bachelor of Science in Biology (Major-Microbiology) from the University of Botswana, 2) Master of Arts in Population Studies from the University of Botswana, 3) Master of Arts in Demography from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States of America, and 4) Doctor of Philosophy (Demography & Social Statistics) from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.
I teach the following courses at the undergraduate level: POP 220, POP 222, POP 223, POP 300, and at the graduate level: POP 602 and POP 608. I also coordinate and facilitate in two short courses "An Introduction to Quantitative Methods for Monitoring and Evaluation" and ''Methods for Data Management with Software Application," which the Department of Population Studies offers in collaboration with Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (USA).
My area of expertise is household demography and its implications for child and adult health. On a more general level, I am interested in how socio-demographic processes shape populations, and monitoring and evaluation of health programs and interventions.
I look forward to supervising graduate students who share the same research interests.
