Naomi Setshegetso is a senior lecturer in the Department of Economics, University of Botswana. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and, a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. Naomi has authored more than 15 articles in peer reviewed Journals in Economics. She is also a peer reviewer for several journals including but not limited to; Archives of Public Health, Bulletin of the World Health Organization, BMC Health Services Research, Informatics in Medicine Unlocked and, PLoS ONE. Her professional and community service includes serving as an Inaugural Junior Fellow at the Pan African Scientific Research Council (PASRC), an Executive Committee member at the African Health Economics and Policy Association (AfHEA), an Interim Programme Coordinator for Young African Statisticians (YAS) and, a former Country Coordinator for YAS – Botswana Chapter.
