I am a Lecturer in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Botswana Faculty of Medicine since April 28, 2023. I have served as Head of the Department and the Director of the Emergency Department at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. I have dedicated my career to improving medical training for physicians and nurses. I am currently leading the in-service resuscitation training for Princess Marina Hospital Accident & Emergency staff with an aim of improving resuscitation outcomes. My passion for teaching makes my  interactions with learners easier and has earned me a recognitions, including an Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching at Addis Ababa University.
