Dr. Nayang Kgakatsi is a lecturer in organic chemistry with a specialization in phytochemistry and organic synthesis. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Botswana. Dr. Nayang's expertise lies in the isolation, characterization, and synthesis of biologically active compounds from plants. Their research focuses on discovering novel phytochemicals with potential pharmaceutical applications and developing efficient synthetic routes for complex natural products. They are dedicated to research, teaching and mentoring students in the fields of organic and natural product chemistry.
