TEACHING ASSISTANTS (7 positions)

VACANCY NO: FSS/DE 01/2024

Applicants are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences.

Duties: The successful candidates will assist the course Instructors with teaching related activities for undergraduate courses for the Academic Year 2024/25.  The selected candidates will be under the supervision of the Departmental Teaching Assistants Coordinator, Course Instructors and Head of Department.

Requirements: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or combined major Economics, with at least a 2(ii). Previous teaching experience, strong quantitative background and/or Masters’ Degree shall be an added advantage.  Preference will be given to current Graduate Economics.

Remuneration: The University of Botswana offers a competitive fixed hourly rate
