The University of Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the posts of Part-Time Tutors for the following centres: a) Lobatse b) Selebi Phikwe, c) Mahalapye, d) Francistown, e) Maun, f) Jwaneng.

Duties: The successful applicants will be expected to engage in tutorials, setting and invigilating tests/examinations, marking and other related duties in the DABS programme.

Requirements: Applicants should have (i) a PhD in Accounting or Business Studies or related areas; a Master’s Degree in Accounting or Business Studies or related areas and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Studies or related areas; (ii) evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement in relevant fields, academic leadership and relevant teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantage. The CV should inter alia, provide a detailed list of courses (if any) ever taught and the levels at which they were taught, as well as research and publications where applicable. Applicants should already be resident in Botswana holding a valid residence permit (if non-citizen).

N.B. Applicants with a Master’s Degree in Accounting or Business Studies or related areas and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Studies or related areas of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered in special circumstances.
