PART-TIME SPORTS COACHES: - SOCCER (1), BASKETBALL (1) AND SWIMMING (1): (3POSITIONS) ONE YEAR CONTRACT

FROM AUGUST 2020 TO JULY 2021

Duties: (i) Supervises, coordinates and schedules practice/sessions for the specifics sports skills. (ii) Monitors and supervises the activities and progress of players and participants in the specific skills. (iii) Assists in recommending team leadership or captaincy for the specific sporting codes. (iv) Coaches and prepares the University of Botswana student teams for various competitions and tournaments. (v) Coordinates coaching programmes, competition logistics and organises sporting activities for the University of Botswana community. (vi) The candidates must be prepared to work at weekends, including public holidays.

Requirements: (i) Diploma in any educational field and a recognized sports coaching certificate in any of the following: Soccer, Rugby and Swimming. (ii) At least two years coaching experience at national leagues. (iii) Previous coaching experience at University level as well as the ability to communicate clearly in English and understand group dynamics will be added advantages.
