The University of Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the posts of Part-Time Lecturers to teach at the following centres:  a) Gaborone, b) Lobatse c) Selebi Phikwe, d) Mahalapye, e) Francistown, f) Maun, (g) Jwaneng.

Duties: The successful applicants will be expected to engage in teaching, setting and invigilating tests/examinations, marking and other related duties in the DABS programme.

Requirements: Applicants should (i) have a relevant Doctorate in respective subject/s; [NOTE: Applicants holding a relevant Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s degree of at least second class, first division (2.1) or equivalent may be considered under special circumstances for appointment (ii) show evidence of prior engagement in research.  (iii) Academic leadership and teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages. The CV should inter alia, provide a detailed list of courses (if any) ever taught and the levels at which they were taught, as well as research and publications where applicable. Applicants should already be resident in Botswana holding a valid residence permit (if non-citizen) and stationed at or near their respective centers.
