Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Industrial Engineering and related areas; (ii) Supervise undergraduate student research projects; (iii) Conduct research in Industrial Engineering and also complement existing research activities in the area; (iv) Participate in other academic and professional activities of the department; (v) Render professional service and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Candidates should have: (i) at least a relevant doctorate in Industrial Engineering or related areas; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research; (iii) Evidence of governance and social engagement as well as teaching experience in Industrial Engineering at a university or comparable institution will be added advantages.
N.B. In special circumstances a relevant Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related areas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering of at least 2.1 pass/ GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered.
