The University of Botswana is offering four Degree programmes by Distance Education mode: Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Finance, Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Management). The University of Botswana invites applications from qualified persons to take up part-time tutoring in the above programmes.
Duties: To participate in tutoring learners of the above distance learning programmes in any of the following areas, for the academic year 2020/21:
Communication and Study Skills
Computing and Information Skills
Business Statistics
Mathematics for Business and Social Sciences
Psychology
Marketing
Management
Accounting
Economics
Law
Critical Thinking
Finance
Politics of Gender
Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) at least a Masters’ Degree (or professional qualification) in relevant area of specialization. (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area of specialization with at least a second class, first division (2.1) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6; (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) a relevant PhD, teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages. Preference will be given to people who have experience in tutoring distance learners. Successful candidates will be expected to undergo a tutors’ orientation workshop by July 2020.
