Applications are invited for the position of Demonstrator in the Department of Industrial Design and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Duties: The Department offers courses in the above area to the students of Bachelor of Design & Technology Education and Bachelor of Industrial Design programmes. Demonstrators are required to instruct and demonstrate the practical aspects of these courses. Design Materials and Processes include working with the following materials: metal, wood, polymers, other manufacturing materials and technologies for processing the materials.
Requirements: Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Design & Technology, Industrial Design, Product Design and/or any related field. Work experience, proficiency in manufacturing and prototyping processes with resistant materials and university level demonstration experience will be an added advantage.
