VACANCY NO: IRC 1521 (3 years fixed contract)
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. The candidate should be able (i) to teach at least two of the following: Civil Procedure; Criminal Procedure; Labour and Employment Law; and Administrative Law. The Department reserves the right to allocate other courses in addition to those outlined above (ii) supervise post graduate and undergraduate student’s projects as need may arise; (iii) participate in the academic, governance and social engagement in Law or related field; (iv) and perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a Doctorate in Law or related field; (ii) a Master’s degree in Law or related field; (iii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related field; (iv) evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement in any of the above or related field, as well as teaching at the University or comparable institution will be added advantages.
NB: Applicants with a Master’s degree in Law or related field with a relevant Bachelor’s degree of at least a 2.1 pass//GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered in special circumstances
