VACANCY NO: FM/FMPH 2/2020, LECTURER
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach undergraduate and graduate public health/ community medicine courses; (ii) supervise student ‘research projects; (iii) conduct research in his/ her areas of expertise; (iv) provide service for the university, profession and community; (v) carry out duties assigned by the head of department.
Requirements: (i) a Doctorate in Public Health or related discipline or; (ii) a Master’s degree in public health and (iii) a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery (MBBS or MBChB) or MD; (iv) in addition the individual must be registered or be able to register as a Public Health Specialist or Public Health Physician with Botswana Health Professions Council; (v) Evidence of governance and social engagement. Experience of teaching at a university or comparable institution will be an added advantage.
