LECTURER IN FAMILY MEDICINE - Fixed Term Contract (July 2020 – July 2021) (TENABLE IN MAUN)
VACANCY NO: FM/ FMPH 3/2020
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach undergraduate and graduate student family medicine; (ii) conduct research and supervise students’ and residents’ research projects; (iii) provide clinical care in affiliated hospitals (iv) and do projects that improve the lives of in communities
Requirements: (i) a Master’s degree in Family Medicine and (ii) a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery (MBBS or MBChB) or MO degree, with at least a 2.1 pass, or an equivalent degree and (iii) must be registered with Botswana Health Professions Council as a specialist in Family Medicine; (iv) show evidence of engagement in research. University teaching experience will be considered an advantage.
