Duties: (i) To manage student academic records including grades collection, processing and reporting, C/GPA calculations, enrolment verifications, graduation checking, transcript production, and certificate production; (ii) develop and implement effective and efficient systems for collecting, processing, storage, retrieval, release, analysis, security and integrity of students records and information; (iii) develops and implements effective policies and procedures; (iv) coordinates administration of academic appeals; (v) manages information service; (vi) effectively coordinate with academic and service units and manage system changes, enhancements and interfaces with other systems; (vii) promotes the use of electronic systems and online services; data analysis and statistical reporting; (viii) effective examination scheduling including the security and integrity of examination papers; (ix) manages internal and external examinations service; (x) leads automation efforts in unit and support campus-wide initiatives; (xi) promotes and implements academic honesty policies and enforce official decisions.
Requirements: (i) A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. (ii) A minimum of five years post-Bachelor’s degree work experience in academic and/or student academic services. (iii) Work experience in academic assessment; examination administration services; integrated electronic student information systems; relational databases and student records management system such as ERP; Web-enabled services. (iv) Knowledge of relevant regulations such as academic and examinations regulations, and quality standards.
